The Hotel's on-site eatery is acclaimed Italian Restaurant Maialino from restaurateur Danny Meyer’s celebrated Union Square Hospitality Group. The space captures the warmth of a traditional Italian trattoria, with its rustic oak panels, tiled floors and large windows framing views of the historic Gramercy Park.
Maialino is known for its Roast Suckling Pig, authentic pastas, light antipasto, and other traditional Italian foods as imagined by Executive Chef Nick Anderer, who utilizes fresh, seasonal ingredients to create bold flavors. The New York Restaurant serves Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, Weekend Brunch and its bustling bar serves local Coffee throughout the morning before transforming into a lively Wine Bar at night.
The Gramercy Terrace is a lush escape 17 stories above the city that offers striking views of both Manhattan and the stars. With a retractable roof, this sumptuous Rooftop Garden seamlessly blends outdoor and indoor spaces, and is filled with tropical plants and 20th century masterpieces by Andy Warhol and Damien Hirst.
It's open to the public daily until 3pm for Breakfast, Lunch and Weekend Brunch, serving Stumptown Coffee, innovative Cocktails and chef Jeff Seizer's menu full of unique twists on American classics and comfort foods. As one of New York's premiere event spaces, the Penthouse Terrace provides an ideal setting for Private Dinners, Cocktail Parties and Weddings. Walk-ins are welcome.
